In Umbria a 215 kilometer itinerary around Perugia is accessible for motorbikes through secondary and dirt roads that flank lakes, historic cities, hills and small valleys. It is suitable for any type of motorcycle, preferably for an enduro. If keeping yourself out of private properties, which are clearly marked, no one will be upset even if you are riding on smaller tracks – given that you are respecting everyone else with less horsepower!

Hi Folks, it‘s been a long time ago that I had the time to go for an enduro adventure. This time I will take along my sweetheart, and visit some friends in Umbria. Just getting there will be a 700kms ride, 90% on highways. But the reward will be some awesome offroad riding. So let‘s see how this is going to work with my KTM1190.

Since I bought my first Motorcycle I am searching the perfect Enduro tyre. Of course there wont be such thing, but we can try to find one close to perfect. The last tyre I tested on my KTM 690 Enduro R is the Heidenau K60 Scout. I used two sets, one only onstreet and one mostly offroad.

Tirana we are coming!
One lesson that we learned from our Albania adventure 2 years ago was the painfulness of a fully charged enduro in rough terrain.
On September, 9 we are going to be back, but this time we will move into a nice Albanian villa in the surroundings of Tirana, using it as a headquarter for our trips into the back country.
